Travel Information

By Road

Coming from the South or the West you will approach Perth either on the M90 (from Edinburgh) or the A9 (from Stirling).

From the north of England use the M6 Carlisle, M74, M73 following signs for Sterling then follow signs for Perth. All motorway traffic should follow signs to Dundee.

Follow the signs to Dundee via the city bypass until you cross the Friarton Bridge which crosses the Tay just east of Perth. Then take the first exit immediately over the bridge and following the signs to Perth, continue across 2 sets of traffic lights, at the third set of traffic lights filter left on the A93 signed Blairgowrie.

If you are coming from Dundee you will travel west on the A90 and exit at the same junction before you cross the bridge. You will soon pick up the signs to Scone Palace and then to the racecourse.
